California High School Basketball - Oakland Military Institute overwhelmed by Making Waves Academy
January 31, 2024: Richmond, CA 94806 The Making Waves Academy Marlins basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Oakland Military Institute Grizzlies to 19 in the Marlins non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Marlins now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Contra Costa Christian for a Bay Counties - General contest on Friday, February 2. Making Waves Academy will battle a Cougars team coming off a 48-46 league win over Fremont Christian (Fremont, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-8.
The Grizzlies (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Averroes (Fremont, CA). The Falcon come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record.
