West Virginia High School Basketball - Bridgeport fells Elkins
January 31, 2024: Elkins, WV 26241 Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Elkins Tigers (Elkins, WV), 59-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bridgeport upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Indians host Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Buckhannon-Upshur won 59-53 in their recent non-league bout against Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Elkins will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 51-38 non-league win over Preston (Kingwood, WV).
