Iowa High School Basketball - A-D-M can't hold off Ballard
January 31, 2025: Huxley, IA 50124 Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting A-D-M Tigers (Adel, IA), 58-55 in a league match.
With the victory, Ballard advances its record to 13-1 on the year. The Bombers host Gilbert (Gilbert, IA) to face the Tigers in a Raccoon River match on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 12-5. Gilbert won 65-60 in their recent league match against Carlisle (Carlisle, IA)
The Tigers now own a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indianola for a non-league match on Monday, February 3. A-D-M will face a Indians squad coming off a 74-64 league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, IA). The Indians record now stands at 4-10.
