Massachusetts High School Basketball - Northeast Metro RVT toppled by Academy of Notre Dame
January 31, 2025: Tyngsborough, MA 01879 Academy of Notre Dame Lancers (Tyngsborough, MA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Northeast Metro RVT Knights (Wakefield, MA), 75-55 in a league match.
With the victory, Academy of Notre Dame advances its record to 4-8 on the year. The Lancers travel to Minuteman Regional (Lexington, MA) to face the Minuteman in a Commonwealth - Lower match on Tuesday, February 4. The Minuteman enter the match with a record of 6-9. Minuteman Regional lost 58-37 in their recent non-league match against Maynard (Maynard, MA)
The Knights now own a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mystic Valley Regional for a Commonwealth - Lower match on Monday, February 3. Northeast Metro RVT will face a Eagles squad coming off a 57-46 non-league win over Neighborhood House Charter (Dorchester, MA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-2.
