January 31, 2025: Nevis, MN 56467 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Nevis Tigers (Nevis, MN) and the visiting Central Raiders (Norwood-Young America, MN), observed Nevis's basketball team overwhelm Central by a margin of 74-51.
The Tigers (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN). The Tigers come into the A Section 5 challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Pine River-Backus was trounced by Red Lake (Red Lake, MN), 87-77, in a league challenge.
