Indiana High School Basketball - Wapahani nips Delta

January 31, 2025: Selma, IN 47383

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Wapahani Raiders basketball team scored a close 44-38 triumph over the Delta Eagles.

The Raiders (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cowan (Muncie, IN). The Blackhawks go into the Mid-Eastern contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Cowan nipped Wes-Del (Gaston, IN), 60-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN) in a Hoosier Heritage contest, on Thursday, February 6. Delta will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 15-2 record after their 67-39 non-league win over Muncie Central (Muncie, IN).
