North Carolina High School Basketball - Mississippi School for the Deaf sneaks past Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf
January 31, 2025: Wilson, NC 27893 The Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs (Jackson, MS) basketball edged the host Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf Fighting Hornet (Wilson, NC), 41-38 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-20 record. They play next when they travel to Florida School for the Deaf & Blind for a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. Mississippi School for the Deaf will play a Dragons team coming off a 76-38 non-league loss to St. Joseph Academy (St. Augustine, FL). The Dragons record now stands at 3-16.
With the loss, Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Fighting hornet travel to Tennessee School for the Deaf (Knoxville, TN) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Tennessee School for the Deaf won 57-37 in their recent non-league bout against Kentucky School for the Deaf (Danville, KY)
