Texas High School Basketball - Legacy knocks off Memorial
January 31, 2025: Wichita Falls, TX 76310 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Legacy Leopards (Wichita Falls, TX) and the host Memorial Mavericks (Wichita Falls, TX), observed Legacy's basketball team overcome Memorial by a margin of 44-33.
The Leopards (17-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Cooper (Abilene, TX). The Cougars come into the 5A Region I District 4 challenge with a 8-15 record. In their last challenge, Cooper dropped by Memorial (Wichita Falls, TX), 43-37, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mavericks battle the Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Memorial will attempt to better on its 12-18 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 15-10 record after their 52-49 league win over Abilene (Abilene, TX).
