The Ocean Township Spartans basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Monmouth Regional Falcons to 54 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Absegami for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Ocean Township will confront a Braves team coming off a 79-51 non-league win over Buena (Buena, NJ). The Braves record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, Monmouth Regional falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Falcons host Asbury Park (Asbury Park, NJ) to confront the Bishops in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4.
