The Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy Eagles (Asheville, NC) basketball edged the visiting Mountain View Christian Academy Mustangs (Cowpens, SC), 40-37 in Friday's league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Veritas Christian Academy for a Western Piedmont bout on Tuesday, February 4.

With the loss, Mountain View Christian Academy falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to UR Academy (Gastonia, NC) to play the Lions in a CSAA bout on Thursday, February 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 11-8.
