Missouri High School Basketball - Neelyville holds off South Iron
January 31, 2025: Annapolis, MO 63620 The Neelyville Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host South Iron Panthers to 56 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now possess a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Doniphan for a Ozark Foothills game on Tuesday, February 4. Neelyville will confront a Dons team coming off a 71-47 non-league win over Saxony Lutheran (Jackson, MO). The Dons record now stands at 9-8.
With the loss, South Iron falls to 14-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bunker (Bunker, MO) to confront the Eagles in a Black River game on Monday, February 3. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 12-3. Bunker won 61-35 in their recent league game against Lesterville (Lesterville, MO)
