California High School Basketball - Westview holds off Poway
January 31, 2025: Poway, CA 92064 The Westview Wolverines basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Poway Titans to 50 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.
The Wolverines now possess a 13-11 record. They play next when they travel to Del Norte for a Palomar game on Tuesday, February 4. Westview will confront a Nighthawks team coming off a 73-43 league loss to San Marcos (San Marcos, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 12-12.
With the loss, Poway falls to 15-9 on the campaign. The Titans host Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA) to confront the Grizzlies in a Palomar game on Tuesday, February 4. The Grizzlies go into the game with a record of 16-8. Mission Hills won 60-43 in their recent league game against Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA)
