Illinois High School Basketball - Shepard holds off Reavis

The Shepard Astros basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Reavis Rams to 49 in the Astros league triumph on Friday.

The Astros now possess a 9-14 record. They play next when they host Oak Lawn for a South Suburban game on Tuesday, February 4. Shepard will confront a Spartans team coming off a 84-60 non-league loss to Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 16-7.

With the loss, Reavis falls to 7-14 on the campaign. The Rams host Argo (Summit, IL) to confront the Argonauts in a South Suburban game on Tuesday, February 4. The Argonauts go into the game with a record of 11-13. Argo lost 54-47 in their recent non-league game against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL)
