January 31, 2025: Kansas City, KS 66104 Shawnee Mission North Bison (Shawnee Mission, KS) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Schlagle Stallions (Kansas City, KS), 68-34 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Shawnee Mission North advances its record to 5-8 on the year. The Bison host Olathe East (Olathe, KS) to face the Hawks in a Sunflower match on Tuesday, February 4. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 7-3. Olathe East won 57-50 in their recent non-league match against Blue Valley Southwest (Overland Park, KS)
The Stallions now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Atchison for a Meadowlark match on Tuesday, February 4. Schlagle will face a Phoenix squad coming off a 73-60 non-league loss to Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO). The Phoenix record now stands at 7-5.
