Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Walsingham Academy Trojans (Williamsburg, VA), 41-39 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Veritas School advances its record to 5-8 on the year. The Lions travel to Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA) to meet the Navigators in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Navigators enter the match with a record of 8-7.

The Trojans now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Steward for a VISAA Division II match on Tuesday, February 4.
