January 31, 2025: Warsaw, KY 41095 Owen County Rebels (Owenton, KY) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Gallatin County Wildcats (Warsaw, KY), 27-26 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Owen County advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Rebels travel to Carroll County (Carrollton, KY) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-5. Carroll County lost 56-26 in their recent non-league match against Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY)
The Wildcats now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carroll County for a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. Gallatin County will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 38-36 non-league loss to Trimble County (Bedford, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
