Rhode Island High School Basketball - North Providence fells Hope
January 31, 2025: North Providence, RI 02904 The North Providence Cougars basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Hope Blue Wave to 52 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Cranston West for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. North Providence will confront a Falcons team coming off a 58-26 non-league loss to Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Falcons record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Hope falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Blue wave travel to Pilgrim (Warwick, RI) to confront the Patriots in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 7-2. Pilgrim won 58-26 in their recent non-league game against Cranston West (Cranston, RI)
