In Friday's league contest, the host Blue Ridge Christian Bears basketball team scored a close 38-34 triumph over the Grace Christian Warriors.

The Bears (15-2) will now prepare for their battle against Roanoke Valley Christian (Roanoke, VA). The EAGLES enter the non-league battle with a 2-12 record. In their last battle, Roanoke Valley Christian was nudged by Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA), 54-27, in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now own a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgeview Christian for a Virginia Christian battle on Monday, February 3.
