Millennium Tigers (Goodyear, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ), 62-57 in a league match.

With the victory, Millennium upgrades its record to 16-6 on the year. The Tigers host Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Vikings in a 6A Central match on Wednesday, February 5. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 15-7.

The Thunder now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Xavier College Prep for a 6A Central match on Tuesday, February 4. Desert Vista will face a Gators squad coming off a 78-13 league win over Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ). The Gators record now stands at 17-6.
