In Friday's league test, the West Ashley Wildcats (Charleston, SC) basketball squad got by the host James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC), by a final score of 52-47.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Fort Dorchester Patriots (North Charleston, SC) in a AAAAA Region 8 test, on Tuesday, February 4. West Ashley will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record.
