In Friday's non-league test, the Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] Tigers (Rosholt, SD), by a score of 64-47.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Knights (Lake Crystal, MN) in a AA Section 2 test, on Friday, January 31. Maple River will attempt to improve on its 17-19 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 4-12 record after their 58-55 league loss to St. Clair (St. Clair, MN).
