Ohio High School Ice Hockey - Lake knocks off Southview
January 31, 2025: Sylvania, OH 43560 The Lake Flyers ice hockey team scored 7 points and held the host Southview Cougars to 1 in the Flyers league victory on Friday.
The Flyers now hold a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anthony Wayne for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. Lake will play a Generals team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH). The Generals record now stands at 8-18.
With the defeat, Southview moves to 3-8 on the season. The Cougars host Springfield (Holland, OH) to play the Blue Devils in a bout on Saturday, February 1. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Springfield won 5-3 in their recent league bout against Southview (Sylvania, OH)
