The McDowell Titans were victorious over the visiting North Buncombe Black Hawks basketball squad by a final score of 51-41 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Titans face the Enka Jets (Enka, NC) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, February 4. McDowell will attempt to upgrade on its 11-0 season record. The Jets enter the outing with a 0-11 record after their 68-30 non-league loss to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC).

The Black Hawks (6-9) will now prepare for their outing against West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Falcons enter the non-league outing with a 10-9 record. In their last outing, West Henderson was defeated by Pisgah (Canton, NC), 54-41, in a non-league outing.
