The Golden Tornadoes now possess a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hattiesburg for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 2. Laurel will confront a Tigers team coming off a 61-48 league win over Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 16-8.

The Panthers (15-7) will now prepare for their battle against West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Knights come into the 4A Region 5 battle with a 14-9 record. In their last battle, West Lauderdale was toppled by Newton County (Decatur, MS), 52-46, in a league battle.
