The Baxter basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting GMG Wolverines to 50 in the non-league triumph on Tuesday.

In their next game, the face the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 4. Baxter will attempt to move on its 17-3 season record. The Tigerhawks enter the match with a 3-14 record after their 84-38 league loss to Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA).

With the defeat, GMG moves to 5-10 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA) to face the Plainsmen in a non-league match on Friday, February 4.
