Kansas High School Basketball - Centralia can't hold off Rock Creek
February 1, 2022: St. George, KS 66535 The Rock Creek Mustangs basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Centralia Panthers to 49 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riley County for a non-league contest on Friday, February 4. Rock Creek will battle a Falcons team coming off a 53-45 non-league loss to Marysville (Marysville, KS). The Falcons record now stands at 4-8.
The Panthers (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Frankfort (Frankfort, KS). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Frankfort nudged Blue Valley (Randolph, KS), 61-49, in a non-league contest.
