The Columbiana Clippers basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting United Golden Eagles to 35 in the Clippers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Clippers now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leetonia for a Eastern Ohio contest on Friday, February 4. Columbiana will meet a Bears team coming off a 50-32 league loss to Valley Christian (Youngstown, OH). The Bears record now stands at 4-13.

The Golden Eagles (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against East Palestine (East Palestine, OH). The Bulldogs enter the Eastern Ohio contest with a 2-14 record. In their last contest, East Palestine was nudged by Wellsville (Wellsville, OH), 84-59, in a league contest.
