February 1, 2022: Due West, SC 29639 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC) and the visiting Ware Shoals Fighting Hornets (Ware Shoals, SC), saw Dixie's basketball squad overcome Ware Shoals by a tally of 69-53.
With the victory, Dixie improves its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Hornets host McCormick (McCormick, SC) to confront the Chiefs in a A Region 1 challenge on Wednesday, February 2. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. McCormick lost 52-40 in their recent league challenge against Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC)
Next up, the Fighting Hornets confront the Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes (Calhoun Falls, SC) in a A Region 1 challenge, on Wednesday, February 2. Ware Shoals will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Blue Flashes come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 69-42 league win over Whitmire (Whitmire, SC).
