Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) and the host Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), saw Thomas Jefferson's basketball squad knock off Highland Tech by a tally of 59-49.

With the victory, Thomas Jefferson improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Gryphons host Cherryville (Cherryville, NC) to play the Ironmen in a 1A/2A Conference 40 challenge on Thursday, February 3. The Ironmen come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Cherryville lost 68-66 in their recent league challenge against Burns (Lawndale, NC)
