Kansas High School Basketball - Hope knocked off by Peabody-Burns
February 1, 2022: Hope, KS 67451 The Peabody-Burns Warriors basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Hope Lions to 35 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rural Vista [Hope/White City] for a Wheat State contest on Tuesday, February 1. Peabody-Burns will meet a Heat team coming off a 71-39 non-league loss to Northern Heights (Allen, KS). The Heat record now stands at 1-11.
The Lions (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Wakefield (Wakefield, KS). The Bombers enter the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Wakefield was outscored by Elyria Christian (McPherson, KS), 70-23, in a non-league contest.
