Millington Cardinals (Millington, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. Louis Sharks (St. Louis, MI), 58-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Millington upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI) to clash with the Chargers in a Tri-Valley - West bout on Friday, February 4. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Valley Lutheran lost 61-54 in their recent league bout against Ithaca (Ithaca, MI)

Next up, the Sharks clash with the Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI) in a Tri-Valley - East bout, on Friday, February 4. St. Louis will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 11-1 record after their 72-59 league win over Nouvel Catholic Central (Saginaw, MI).
