Ohio High School Basketball - Newark tipped by Pickerington North
February 1, 2022: Pickerington, OH 43147 The Pickerington North Panthers basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Newark Wildcats to 35 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grove City for a Ohio Capital - Ohio contest on Friday, February 4. Pickerington North will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 43-34 non-league loss to Hilliard Davidson (Hilliard, OH). The Greyhounds record now stands at 8-9.
The Wildcats (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Central Crossing (Grove City, OH). The Comets enter the Ohio Capital - Buckeye contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Central Crossing was nudged by Pickerington Central (Pickerington, OH), 65-27, in a league contest.
