Arizona High School Basketball - Horizon knocked off by Desert Mountain
February 1, 2022: Scottsdale, AZ 85259 The Desert Mountain Wolves basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Horizon Huskies to 25 in the Wolves league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolves now sport a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McClintock for a 5A Northeast Valley contest on Thursday, February 3. Desert Mountain will meet a Chargers team coming off a 61-19 non-league win over Central (Phoenix, AZ). The Chargers record now stands at 14-7.
The Huskies (11-12) will now prepare for their contest against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ). The Titans enter the 5A Northeast Valley contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Arcadia was defeated by Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ), 40-30, in a league contest.
