February 1, 2022: Wauzeka, WI 53826 The Highland Cardinals basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Wauzeka-Steuben Hornets to 52 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benton for a Six Rivers - West contest on Thursday, February 3. Highland will battle a Zephyrs team coming off a 72-58 non-league loss to Potosi (Potosi, WI). The Zephyrs record now stands at 6-14.
The Hornets (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Crawford (Soldiers Grove, WI). The Trojans come into the Ridge & Valley contest with a 2-14 record. In their last contest, North Crawford was defeated by Kickapoo (Viola, WI), 68-28, in a league contest.
