The Port Isabel Tarpons basketball team (Port Isabel, TX), was overwhelmed 60-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Rio Hondo Bobcats (Rio Hondo, TX)

The Bobcats now possess a 24-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hidalgo for a 4A Region IV District 32 battle on Wednesday, February 2.

The Tarpons (10-21) will now prepare for their battle against Grulla (Rio Grande City, TX). The Gators come into the 4A Region IV District 32 battle with a 6-16 record.
