February 1, 2023: Amity, OR 97101 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Perrydale Pirates (Amity, OR) basketball squad nipped the visiting Columbia Christian Knights (Portland, OR), by a margin of 56-50.
The Pirates (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Damascus Christian (Damascus, OR). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 4-9 record. In their last outing, Damascus Christian was tipped by Country Christian (Molalla, OR), 55-22, in a league outing.
The Knights now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Damascus Christian for a 1A Valley 10 outing on Saturday, February 4. Columbia Christian will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 51-16 non-league loss to Perrydale (Amity, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 4-10.
