Massachusetts High School Basketball - Quabbin Regional tops Gardner
February 1, 2023: Barre, MA 01005 Quabbin Regional Panthers (Barre, MA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Gardner Wildcats (Gardner, MA), 43-24 in a league bout.
With the victory, Quabbin Regional upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lunenburg (Lunenburg, MA) to play the Blue Knights in a Midland-Wachusett C bout on Friday, February 3. The Blue Knights come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Lunenburg won 65-61 in their recent non-league bout against Ayer Shirley (Ayer, MA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the West Boylston Lions (West Boylston, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Gardner will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 0-13 record after their 57-25 non-league loss to St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA).
