Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC) and the visiting Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC), saw Red Springs's basketball squad knock off Clinton by a count of 33-22.

With the victory, Red Springs upgrades its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC) to play the Knights in a 2A Conference 7 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. West Bladen lost 56-31 in their recent league challenge against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC)

Next up, the Dark Horses play the St. Pauls Bulldogs (St. Pauls, NC) in a 2A Conference 7 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 69-66 league win over Midway (Dunn, NC).
