Missouri High School Basketball - Nixa overwhelms Jefferson City
February 1, 2023: Nixa, MO 65714 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Nixa Eagles (Nixa, MO) and the visiting Jefferson City Jays (Jefferson City, MO), saw Nixa's basketball squad wallop Jefferson City by a tally of 68-47.
With the victory, Nixa improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Carthage (Carthage, MO) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 9-11.
Next up, the Jays confront the Roosevelt Roughriders (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Jefferson City will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record.
