Wharton Wildcats (Tampa, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Largo Packers (Largo, FL), 47-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wharton upgrades its record to 19-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Hillsborough (Tampa, FL) to play the Terriers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Terriers go into the bout with a record of 18-7. Hillsborough won 57-25 in their recent non-league bout against Countryside (Clearwater, FL)
