Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI), 45-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chariho upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Chargers travel to East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI) to clash with the Avengers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Avengers go into the bout with a record of 2-0.
