Michigan High School Basketball - Anchor Bay tops Port Huron
February 1, 2024: Fair Haven, MI 48023 Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Port Huron Red Hawks (Port Huron, MI), 62-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Anchor Bay upgrades its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Tars host Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI) to play the Falcons in a Macomb Area - Blue bout on Monday, February 5. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 8-7. Utica Ford won 47-38 in their recent league bout against Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI)
Next up, the Red Hawks play the Marysville Vikings (Marysville, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Port Huron will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 49-35 league win over Marine City (Marine City, MI).
