February 1, 2024: Conway, MO 65632 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Ash Grove Pirates (Ash Grove, MO) basketball squad felled the host Conway Bears (Conway, MO), by a margin of 88-71.
The Pirates (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Marionville (Marionville, MO). The Comets go into the Southwest outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, Marionville thwarted Diamond (Diamond, MO), 73-45, in a league outing.
The Bears now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Sparta for a Summit outing on Friday, February 2. Conway will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 63-46 non-league win over Marshfield (Marshfield, MO). The Trojans record now stands at 18-4.
