Wisconsin High School Basketball - Athens winner over Drummond
February 1, 2024: Athens, WI 54411 The Athens Bluejays (Athens, WI) basketball felled the visiting Drummond Lumberjacks (Drummond, WI), 57-42 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bluejays (7-10) will now prepare for their test against Assumption (Wisconsin Rapids, WI). The Royals go into the non-league test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Assumption was beaten by Auburndale (Auburndale, WI), 77-39, in a league test.
The Lumberjacks now own a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mercer for a Northern Lights test on Friday, February 2. Drummond will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 64-45 league win over Butternut (Butternut, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 2-12.
