Indiana High School Basketball - Triton Central holds off Covenant Christian

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Triton Central Tigers (Fairland, IN) and the host Covenant Christian Warriors (Indianapolis, IN), saw Triton Central's basketball squad hold off Covenant Christian by a tally of 45-44.

With the victory, Triton Central improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter (Indianapolis, IN) to confront the Raiders in a Indiana Crossroads challenge on Friday, February 9. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 6-12.

Next up, the Warriors confront the North Putnam Cougars (Roachdale, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Covenant Christian will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 53-39 non-league win over Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN).
