In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Fort Meade Miners basketball team scored a good 64-49 triumph over the DeSoto County Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Miners face the Lakeland Christian Vikings (Lakeland, FL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 6. Fort Meade will attempt to move on its 17-6 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 14-7 record after their 68-48 non-league win over All Saints' Academy (Winter Haven, FL).
