Georgia High School Basketball - Lanier Christian Academy overwhelms Scholars Guild Academy
February 1, 2024: Loganville, GA 30052 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA) and the host Scholars Guild Academy Spartans (Loganville, GA), saw Lanier Christian Academy's basketball squad wallop Scholars Guild Academy by a tally of 65-42.
With the victory, Lanier Christian Academy improves its record to 14-10 on the campaign. The Lightning travel to West Hall (Oakwood, GA) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 2. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 5-16. West Hall lost 64-51 in their recent league challenge against Wesleyan (Norcross, GA)
Next up, the Spartans play the Fideles Christian Rangers (Cumming, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Scholars Guild Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 16-6 record after their 78-71 non-league win over Georgia Force Christian (Sugar Hill, GA).
