February 1, 2024: Maurepas, LA 70449 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA) and the host Maurepas Wolves (Maurepas, LA), saw Riverside Academy's basketball squad overcome Maurepas by a tally of 62-50.
With the victory, Riverside Academy improves its record to 5-14 on the campaign. The Rebels host St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA) to confront the Saints in a 1A District 10 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 19-4. St. Martin's Episcopal won 75-68 in their recent non-league challenge against Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA)
Next up, the Wolves confront the Christ Episcopal School Wildcats (Covington, LA) in a B District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Maurepas will attempt to improve on its 5-20 season record.
