Oklahoma High School Basketball - Milburn holds off Wanette
February 1, 2024: Milburn, OK 73450 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Milburn Eagles (Milburn, OK) and the visiting Wanette Tigers (Wanette, OK), saw Milburn's basketball squad hold off Wanette by a tally of 54-51.
With the victory, Milburn improves its record to 1-17 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Moyers (Moyers, OK) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 15-9. Moyers won 47-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Rock Creek (Bokchito, OK)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Calvin Bulldogs (Calvin, OK) in a Pontotoc challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Wanette will attempt to improve on its 3-16 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 66-28 league loss to Asher (Asher, OK).
