Arkansas High School Basketball - Oden overwhelmed by Taylor
February 1, 2024: Taylor, AR 71861 The Taylor Tigers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Oden Timberwolves to 25 in the Tigers league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Ida for a 1A Region 7 contest on Friday, February 2. Taylor will battle a Lions team coming off a 69-24 non-league loss to Murfreesboro (Murfreesboro, AR). The Lions record now stands at 6-13.
The Timberwolves (4-20) will now prepare for their contest against Blevins (Blevins, AR). The Hornets come into the 1A Region 7 contest with a 7-19 record. In their last contest, Blevins triumphed over Umpire (Umpire, AR), 78-45, in a non-league contest.
